If you are a resident of Hobart and/or an area business in Northwest Indiana, please get to know your local business neighbors at the 2017 Business & Community Expo on May 4th at THE AMBASSADOR BANQUET HALL in Hobart. Information is found on the attached flyer.

Tom Lounges Entertainment, LLC will provide production and serve as the emcee of the event, which also includes a combined booth with Tom Lounges "pet charity of choice" (pardon the pun), The Humane Society of Northwest Indiana.

Adopt-A-Thon @ Porter County Expo Center f

for Great Lakes Emergency Preparedness Expo

HSNI will have animals that are looking for super forever homes at this event. Stop by our booth and say hello! We will have dogs and cats.

This is an ideal time to meet our new Executive Director - Freida White and learn more about our shelter which has been serving the people and animals of Northwest Indiana for over 100 years.

What else is happening at this event!

Attendees of the Great Lakes Emergency Preparedness Expo "GLEPE" will learn about preparing a 72-hour kit, food storage, and water purification. Other vendors will provide tips and information about first aid, gardening, pet care preparedness, radio communications, cooking, and heat, light, and fuel options. Numerous training classes, and demonstrations will be presented by experts in the fields of First Aid/CPR, Wilderness Survival, Gardening, Alternative Energy, Self Defense and more. Stock up on supplies and learn from the experts to ensure your home and family are safe for any emergency.
