Happy Tales

Indie (formerly known as Missy) adopted on 7-29-17

Indie was meant to be a therapy dog from the moment we met her at the HSNI adoption event at Albanese Candy Factory in Indiana.  Indie is full of love and affection, fun, well-mannered and has fabulous fluffy hair.  It has now been ten months since she has been a part of our family and she has been very busy.  She has successfully completed puppy kindergarten, basic obedience, intermediate obedience, advanced obedience, Canine Good Citizen test, and the Wags animal assisted therapy training at Palos Health (joining her two brothers as therapy dogs).  As a Wags dog, she is already happily volunteering to visit patients who request a dog visit during their hospital stay. Everyone who has met her has said how the patients love her and then they usually ask if there are any more dogs like her where she came from.  We always give credit to the wonderful people from the Humane Society of Northwest Indiana for bringing Indie into our lives.
